Mother Daughter Initiative was established in 2013 by Renee Logan of Bowie, MD. Renee is a mother of one adult son and 19-year-old daughter. Renee is currently employed with the federal government in the Office of Public Affairs. She is the Vice President of Public Relations for the Interior Toastmasters. She is an award-winning speaker aspiring to win the Toastmasters International Contest in 2019.
A former NFL Cheerleader for the Washington Redskins, she volunteered with the Kettering Boys & Girls Club for 6 years as a cheerleader coach. She served two years as a Chair for the Mother Daughter Brunch Committee at Bishop McNamara High School in Forestville, MD.
Mother Daughter Initiative speaks to the importance of relationships between mothers and daughters. The relationship a woman has with her mom influences her life experiences. Mother Daughter Initiative promotes, nurtures, and supports healing of women who are daughters and the relationships they have with their moms.
